About me
Hi, I'm Emile - DVSA-licensed driving instructor based in Welling, running my own driving school with the LDC Group.

Most of my pupils pass first time, and over 60 of them have left their stories on my Google reviews - every one of them a 5-star. My pupils' satisfaction is the most satisfying part of the job.

What I really do is hand young people the keys to their own freedom, and give parents back hours of their week.

After 20 years in customer-facing roles - including running my own business in the energy sector - I wanted work with a more personal kind of impact. Friends had been telling me for years that my calm nature would suit driving instruction. They were right.

Honestly, this is the best job I've had. I get to meet a new family every few weeks and watch a nervous teenager turn into a confident driver. And the message I get after the test - the one that says "Emile, I passed!" - never gets old. It's the greatest reward this job offers.

I live in Welling with my wife and children. Two attend local schools, and three of our grown-up children are learning to drive themselves - so I know first-hand how learners juggle studies, social life, and getting on the road. I also know how genuinely life-changing passing your test can be, at any age.

Lessons with me are calm, friendly, and relaxed - always. I firmly believe people learn best when they feel at ease, so there's no shouting and no pressure. Just steady, structured progress at a pace that suits you. Every lesson is planned, purposeful, and genuinely enjoyable.
